We celebrate the Eucharist

Dear St. Mary of the Angels Family & Friends

Love for us moved Jesus Christ to climb the steps to the summit of Calvary, embracing
incredible suffering and death on the cross.

So they took Jesus, and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called
the place of a skull, which is called in Hebrew Golgotha. There they crucified
him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them (John
19:17-18).

But his love went even further than death as it raised his soul and body from the dead to
ascend to the Father! Love has conquered death!

He invites us to love him in return: “If any man would come after me, let him deny
himself and take up his cross and follow me. For… whoever loses his life for my sake
will find it” Matthew 16:24-25). So let us love Jesus as he has loved us, giving our all!
Then we too will see eternal life, rising from the dead with him. This is what Our Lady
does, teaching us to love with a love that gives itself away.

Thank you for being part of St. Mary of the Angels, a family of families, as we travel
together in growing closer to God and to each other.

Have a Happy and Blessed Easter
